A stunning collectable and rare Liberty of London 60s/70s/early 80s large silk scarf, in fabulous and iconic Collier Campbell 'Bauhaus' design, made in England. This is an absolutely gorgeous scarf in a popular modernist design, printed and used on many fabrics. It has become a classic design and examples of it are exhibited in the the V&A, always a sign of good design and quality. It is in a large size, in excellent condition with little evidence of age or use, the silk still crisp and glossy. It is in a fine silk twill with deep rich colours of pink, blue, mint green and mustard with flashes of white and red on a black border. The scarf has hand rolled hems and, unusually retains the care label sewn into the hem. It has the Liberty logo in the bottom corner and is made in England.
